Liquid metal alloys

Posted By John Brinegar

To create a glass structure the alloys must be rapidly quenched from the liquid state. Annealing for stress relive cause the alloy crystalize. I wonder it the residual stresses from rapid solidification would prevent accurate figuring.

They have been trying to enter the jewelery and other markets for many years. Their golf clubs got panned because of the Beryllium used in that alloy. It is pretty much a solution looking for a problem.
