Transparency?? Yeah, Right!

Yep, people like Glenn Beck are just fear mongering, paranoid freaks who are out the rile people up when they speak about how the liberal and progressive left who own the Dems in Congress want to grow government, increase it's power, and stifle any ability to check their back door deals.

Please tell me how this idiocy is good for the American people. Please show me where the transparency is, Mr. Obama, cause i'm not seeing it.

All i see is one power grab after another, and little snippets like this inserted into bills to then allow you to cover your tracks.

Executive Action ..... Surprise, Surprise

Not that surprising, really. Obama has had his most rabid of supporters demanding for quite a while now that he start acting like a dictator to get what they want, Constitution be damned.

And i thought New York's new law was nuts.....

I know liberal Dems hate guns and gun manufacturers, no matter what lies they try to hide behind. I guess i should see this as refreshing in a sense. They're crawling out from behind the facade of civility and caring for the 2nd to just blatantly show their hatred for anyone that buys, sells or manufacturers a firearm.

California manhunt & the liberal left

Posted By Forrest Heinle

So i have a question......

If this guy's manifesto had named prominent republican politicians and conservative media people such as Rush, Beck and Hannity as his inspiration, how much play do you think that would be getting on the news sites like CNN and MSNBC? I only point it out because i notice they are saying zip, zero, zilch, nada over the fact that his manifesto contains all sorts of interesting Democratic politicians and liberal media icons.

It's starting to get interesting....

And the partisanship gets ratcheted up another notch. While i think Hagel is a slug, my guess is this is just grandstanding to try to pry some more information out that can be used against the Democrats down the road. Once it's all done, he'll get approved, with the vote falling along typical party lines and then we'll move on to Brennan.

Scorched Earth

An opinion piece from the LA Times? Not what i would consider a good source for factual information.

This could be true...but until she posts some links to factual information that backup her ascertions...then this should be taken for what it is...an opinion, and nothing else.

Illinois Governor Arrested

Posted By Forrest Heinle

Perhaps it would be nice to note that this shows it doesn't matter if you have an R or a D next to your name, some people (are politicians people?) are always going to break the law to get ahead.

This sucks for Obama. And i don't mean that in the fact he has anything to do with this, or that you could ever tie him to it. That's not what i'm trying to point out. It sucks because here he is, trying to push forth with his message of change, and what does he leave behind him (through no apparent fault of his own)? A scumbag governor who wants to take his former office and turn it into a fiasco of epic proportions by selling it out to the highest bidder while squelching any vocal opposition. Now he's going to have to spend several weeks answering questions about this "issue" that really doesn't have anything to do with him except that he used to fill the position that Blagojevich was trying to auction off like a prized bull.

I'm not an Obama person, but that doesn't matter in this case. The situation sucks.

My favorite Bushism

Yep...people walked out all the time and said that. Or "He didn't just say that, did he? Rewind the tape again!"

Oh well. On some fronts, i hope Obama has the same issues, but i find that to be less likely. And lets face it, right now, we need a President who knows how to say what he means and means what he says.

Then again...there's that whole 57 thing. Hopefully he's figured that one out by now 8O
