FS F/5.9 Reducer on TOA 130?

Posted By Chris Dietz

Anyone have any experience with old TAK FS F/5.9 2.7" reducer? Can I use mine on my new TOA 130MM or would the newer TOA reducer do a better job? Thanks, Chris

TSP Report

Posted By Chris Dietz

Over all TSP had bad weather cloudy and cold, but no hail? Thursday after the storm was the best night. I spent to much time observing and should have stuck to imaging, who was to now it clear? Here is one shot of M105. I left on Saturday could anyone there tell me how Sunday was for observing and the weather? Did I miss anything? I will be at TSP next year! Thanks, Chris

Correct size filter

Posted By Chris Dietz

Mike, I use a CA-35 for my Tak FS102, and use the 48mm IDAS LPS filter. The 48mm LPS screws into the wide EOS camera adapter and then screws into the CA-35 at the cameras bayonet. Clear skies, Chris!

FS-102NSV model.

Posted By Chris Dietz

Paulo, the NSV is shorter than the FS102. The NSV has a retractable dew shield and is 24 inches long and the FS is longer. They are both F/8 scopes. Clear skies, Chris

Okie-Tex - not too early to start talking about it

Posted By Chris Dietz

Doug and Klaus, I'm going to Okie-Tex I've gone for the last three years. The camping and support is very good. The night is long and it's very dark! The people from the town of Boise City are great and put on some great meals the amenities are on a par with TSP and I think it's darker! I can't wait clear skies, Chris
