4 mm Circle T ortho can not reach focus in FS102

My Takahasi FS102 was bought in June to July 2003. Serial # is 03085.
I just bought a used Circle T 4mm Ortho (Meade series II ortho). Tonight I found out that it will not reach focus with the CAA on the FS102. It looks like it needs more in travel (focuser rack in). It will only reach focus with out the CAA. I hate to screw on and screw out the CAA when I need to use the 4 mm eyepiece. Is it possible that I have the the older version OTA tube, which is longer? Anyone out there having the same problem?

Since my recently purchase 4mm Circle T ortho (Meade series II ortho)will not focus in my fixed dew shield FS102 series # 03085) with CAA, I decided to purchase another good 4 mm.

Anyone can suggest a 4 mm eyepiece with this the following set up?

Telescope: FS102 with Tak CAA
Visual Back: Tak 2" with compression ring
Diagonal: Tak 1/10 waves miror diagonal

Hello all:

I have a FSQ 106N and wonder if this setup below will work.

FSQ -> 2" adapter (Tak#TOA0300) -> TOA 1.6X Extender Q (Tak#TOA130EX)-
> 2" Tak 10th waves diagonal (Tak#TDM0200)

Anyone has any idea?

Which Mount?

I am debating which to get for my FSQ 106N for visual.

Would the Vixen GP good enough? The mount will be mounted on a 4" pier.

Should I get a EQ 6 or a HEQ5 since I have decided to get a C 9.25 in future and the C 9.25 will be use together with the FSQ 106N?

Would a EQ6 or a HEQ5 enough mount for Visual with this combination (C 9.25 with FSQ 106N)?
Again the EQ mount will be mounted on a pier (4").
