This was taken to merge with a longer exposure to keep the Trapezium from burning out. No unsharp mask was done just stretch. I processed it just to see what information was there. 1min with a st-2000xcm.

Ok, I combined that 1 min exposure with a 15 min exposure and processed it. Not a lot of unsharp masking as I like the smooth wispy look.

Has anyone done any research into Rollei R3 film as a replacement for tech pan. Has anyone tried to hyper it?
It seems to have the right technical properties. The data sheet has a sensitivity listed as 380nm to 730nm.

If you want to get serious, here is the mount for the 10" This is a pic of my setup. A Celestron CGE computerized mount. Rock steady and accurate. The cheapo Meade dovetail has been replaced with a Losmandy universal plate. I use this setup for Astrophotography and so far the results are fantastic.

Yes, but not on that cheezy mount. I image with the 10 on a Celestron CGE mount. I plan on changing the focuser but so far I have received pretty decent results.
