I have the scope but have not bought the Controller for it yet. I have not even put it together yet. I also have the Orion 10" xt. I lke it a lot, this why I have bought the 12 xti. I am sick of spending my time trying to find stuff. More than half the night is spent trying to find what I want to see. I have replace the focusers on both scopes. The originals are ok but I don't like set screws. The 12" xti has a pyrex mirror which I wanted. If you get a good mirror and put magic sliders on it you have nice light bucket.

I know a fellow here in town that has a TEC140. I bought a mount from him. He had a NP127 on loan from a friend who wanted to sell it. He said he was going to sell the TEC140 and keep the NP127. I think it was the size issue for him. I sold a TOA130 to get a NP127. It was the weight 33lbs verses 17lbs. I have the NP 127 on a Teegul right now. It seem solid. But I have not been able to go out with the new to me NP127 yet and use any high powers on it. Both NP127 I am talking about are not the IS version.
