These are spectacular Tyler. I almost jumped when I opened the close up. Must have had a rodent ancestor somewhere up the line.

This Turkey Vulture and a few mates were sunning and drinking along the shore of a small sandy lake in Central Florida. Captured with a Canon Digital Rebel and Tamron 28-300mm zoom; hand held.

The Black-beaked Magpie has a bad reputation because they are noisy, eat about anything including carrion and are anything but dainty. I think they are quite striking though. This one was pretty far away, but I liked the setting.

Hi Aaron:
Yes, your images, the cormorant for example, are larger than the screen size when I view them too. I personally get around this for web images by saving the smaller version by "pixel dimensions." Most of the stuff I have posted here was re-sized to 850 pixels wide and that size seems to work well. The 850 pixel wide images will fit on most anyone's monitor I think. This is easy to do in Photoshop, and maybe available on your program too.

This fellow (gal?) was waiting on the deck when we came home. He was very patient. Unfortunately, I had to photograph him through a window that (ahem...) I could stand to clean. Does anyone know off-hand what species this is?
