Astro-Physics Mounts

Posted By Frank Varisco

I hear the same. smile I suspect that the level-of-effort for making a mount isn't as great as making a scope. I also that it might be possible to get an AP900 by the end of year. I contacted Company 7 in Laurel a whiel back, and they said that they'd put me on the list.

Goodbye FSQ, Hello????

I think that there are still a few around that you can get. And they will pop up periodicall on Amart.
I owned one and now wished I would have kept it :C

There has been discussion on other groups about this. Herb (?) at Anacortes did mention that there is 'something' in the works.

And I had read that flourite is considered an environmental hazard and has been banned, or seriously limited, in Japan.

Eagle Nebula

That's a beaut. Glad to see that the E180 is working out for you, Ivan.

This is kind of a widefield, so the Eagle is itty bitty, but it does show a hint of the wonderful amount of subtle nebulosity that is in this region. Practically the whole frame is covered with faint emission, if you crank up processing.

Canon 20Da, Epsilon 180ED, IDAS LPR filter, Mach1GTO mount, STV autoguided.
