Hi All,

Forgive the "cross post"...

Here is my latest attempt at a Narrow Band image. 255 minutes wih an FSQ/ST-2000 combo in 15 minute subs. It is far from complete and please forgive the weak S/N ratio.

Looking For Some Help With An FSQ and AstroDon Fil

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for some help with an issue that I am having. I am trying to sort out if the issue is me or my setup.

Here is my setup:
Scope - Takahashi FSQ-106n
Filters - AstroDon Gen1 RGB's
Camera - SBig ST-2000

My issue is that I am seeing star size very from my R to G&B. What I would love to see is a set of R/G/B frames from a similar setup. I would be very happy with (1) uncalibrated sub from each channel. Would someone be willing to share?

Hi All,

I am an Astronut (Mount-less and Camera-less for now... dreaming about a EM200 and a ST-8300) in Northern Indiana that also loves Audio. I have a setup that I really loved to listen to while my scope was out taking pictures of the stars... 2am listening to music... scope taking pictures of the night sky... How in the heck could you spend your time better? Enough about me... Are there any other vinyl addicts out here? What are you listening to? What are you listening to as far as hardware?

The GM-8 _might_ do it if all you ever want to do is visual. It will take it some time to settle down. I had a FS-102 mounted on the GM-8 and it did work very well. If money allows the G-11 would do better. If you can afford more, look at a EM-200.

Why not pick up a focal corrector to drop the focal length to 473mm the find a used ST-7. You should be able to have that for under 1000.00. You should also have a blast! If you don't like it sell it and get your money back.
