Don't know if this will help or not.. I was told that any "real" photo shop can take care of astrophotos. All they need to know is that they are night time photos and it might help to bring some examples such as a book with pictures. Even the One hour photo shop I took my last batch to did at least an OK job. Funny thing is that the one hour photo shop was twice as expencive as the pro I went to this time around (6.00 vs 3.00).

Take a look in your Yellow pages under Photography or Photos, or what ever.

I've just started out with Piggyback a couple months ago and this week I finally got some good Afocal shots. I attempted Prime focus once but with a Newt I couldn't get a focus from the view finder. "I coupled my Olympus OM-1 SLR camera to the scope using the camera adapter that came with the scope and a t-ring." I have a T-Ring but I don't know what "Camera Adapter" you're talking about. So..., what are you talking about?

Tom is the best one answer and I'm sure he'll pop in here and do so. You will be surprized to find out where he got it! Speaking of PolyStar, I'm placing the scope in the back yard some time soon and a chair of some kind. After finding some object and getting my self comfortible I'll be taking measurments to see if I would be better off with a copy of the Polystar Observatory :-)

Above M81 just about to the top of the frame there is another galaxy. I assume you seen that already(?).

Joe, I'm interested in this exact thing! Since I posted the question on a news group a couple days ago i have found a place with in five minutes of me that makes prints from slides and can copy to CD. However, He can only make a print from a slide as large as 8x10 inches, Print film he can go as far as 10x15, I'm interested in 8x10 miles, or at least as large as i can get it;-)

My original problem was that the nearest place to make prints from slides is about an hour drive but If i could copy the slides on to print film i could go to my local photolab and get prints. Pretty much like what you have mentioned. Could you give some information on the "slide dupe lens/kit"? I heard of such a beast but never seen one and know nothing about it. Is it possible to make one at home to save some money or would it be cheaper to buy one? And last, The two photo's you attached to this message, one with M42 and next to it a star field, are they one in the same photo, I.E. before and after shots?
