Your images are great. I think you have to watch your saturation levels for color. Try stacking and processing with Registax. Your color rendition should come out truer.

Absolutely spectacular. I am sure you have noticed the bicolor ring division around the Encke division. Proves your image is up there with the best. Thanks and please keep posting.

Homemade CCD filter wheel ??

The Gentleman's name is Chris Heapy. He has made some of the finest custom made accessories pieces I have seen. He has a detailed description of a manual color filter wheel that he produced that is fantastic. You will need some machining skills though. I have enclosed a picture of the one I made using his as my guide.

Mars and AVI files???

There are a few freeware programs that you can downlaod and use. Avi2bmp, AVIEDIT are two programs that I use. AVIEDIT is the easier of the two to use. Just open up your avi file with AVIEDIT, advance frame by frame and cut the bad frames. If by accident you cut out a good frame, you can always undo it. You can then save the remaining avi clip with just the good frames left. You can stack and process the new file with Registax or Astrostack.

Hello,
I uploaded an image, Thor's Helmet NGC 2359, and it indicates server error on gallery.  I have never had problems in the past viewing the images I have uploaded.  Please help.
