If an insult is based upon the insinuation of homosexuality then the one expressing the insinuation is a homophobe.  Plain, simple, unequivocal.   That's gay-bashing, Richard. It's at the mild end of the hate-crime spectrum.  And the beauty of this situation is that I couldn't possibly care less about what anyone on an internet forum, especially Richard Davis, thinks my sexual orientation is.

I'm still working on 'AFC', though.   Can anybody give a guy a hint?

OK. Let me set the record 'straight', so to speak.

Richard has somehow got it in his head that I am a homosexual.   Apparently mysterious "others" put this idea there (love to know who these folks are, btw).   Then Richard uses this impression to attack me in return for a perceived attack by me on him.  Of course using the possibility of an opponent being gay as a negative, as something worth attacking negatively, is homophobia at its finest.  Then Richard feels even more secure in his opinion of my sexuality because I suggested that there is nothing wrong with giving a blow job.  Surely, in his mind, I must be gay if I say something like that!!  An 'AFC'  as he keeps mentioning.....(congrats, Richard, you have me stumped with this acronym....)


My comment, that there is nothing wrong with giving a blowjob, stands - all gay men do so with their partners and the vast majority of women I've known do as well.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with this sort of sexual practice between consenting adults.   But my making such a statement doesn't make me a homosexual.  It just makes me a tolerant, liberal human being. 

So, today is a red-letter day here on Astromart which should be remembered down through the ages.  Ballads written etc.

Because Richard Davis, of Colorado, USA, is WRONG.  I'm not gay.  I'm a boring, run-of-the-mill hetero male.
