The Tea Party just reelected Harry Reid...

Posted By Mike Strieber

The Tea Party is doing more damage than good, if you're a Republican or conservative in general that is. Their support to Sharron Angle in Nevada put her over the top in the Republican primary. They handed the election to Reid by doing so. That is exactly what Reid wanted to happen, face a radical conservative who wants to abolish social security, the Education Department, etc. Nevada is a popular retirement state, filled with many seniors. Do you think they'll vote for someone who wants to end social security? Radicals on either side don't win. Whether she's right in her views or not, they are not mainstream. So those of you who love Harry Reid, congratulations. Your worst enemy, the Tea Party, is now your best friend. I have a feeling the Tea Party will destroy any opportunity for Republicans to regain the House or Senate in November.

Snoozeville

Obama's speech was a little over an hour ago and I don't remember a damn thing he said. Even Olbermann nailed it...."he didn't aim low, he didn't aim at all." Carter inspired me more.

Unfortunate but McChrystal must go...

He may even be right in what he said but he has exhibited an extreme lapse in judgment. Comments like these impact national security, foreign relations, and certainly undermines the morale of the troops he sends into battle. You just don't make "mistakes" like this. I really like the guy, he's a great war-fighting general, but clearly his judgment is questionable. By making these comments he has irreparably damaged the morale of the soldiers charged with conducting the nation's business. I don't believe Obama has any choice but to get rid of him. If he doesn't fire him he will look weak and confirm for many what they already believe.

Daily Kos

And the left bitches about Beck and Limbaugh? This from the left's cornerstone website:

"...America's military is not made up of our best and brightest, but of our sickest and most pathological criminals."

"Half frat boy, half eighth-grader, half murderer and all evil, McChrystal is a sad remnant of Donald Rumsfeld's dysfunctional Pentagon who should have been kicked out of the military in West Point rather than be allowed to slouch his way through a brutal career and find his way into the White House."

"Obama should sack McChrystal because McChrystal is a ruthless, bullying criminal with the emotional development of a 13-year-old skateboarder."

"But before he does that, he should insist the Secret Service strip search McChrystal on his way into the White House. Because you just can't trust this punk."

How much you wanna bet half the liberal "quitters" to this forum because the criticism of Obama was too much to take are getting their news from the Kos on a daily basis?

The Poodle

Posted By Mike Strieber

"She tried to get away -- in the process calling Gore a "crazed sex poodle" -- but the former vice president was too strong for her." Why isn't this in the news more? Eh, never mind...

Same old story; imagine if it was Cheney who perpetrated this sexual crime. Gore nearly rapes a woman (in fact he very well may have)....crickets. Cheney goes in the hospital and liberal radio hosts literally, on the air, hope he dies.

Mike Malloy: [speaking of Cheney on Friday] "I'm not going to feel anything but intense gratitude that this miserable bastard has stepped off this earthly coil! Really!" So I ask you, what's worse, Rush hoping Obama's policies fail or if he had openly wished for Obama's death?

Never mind again...

I must admit I love this part though:

After this horrible encounter with the Poodle the woman tells a friend what happened. How does the friend respond? "...just suck it up; otherwise, the world's going to be destroyed from global warming." Hey, what are friends for? The Earth wasn't the only globe warm that day.

Another fond moment this incident reminds me of is the Poodle's expressed "disgust", when he was running for President, at Clinton's behavoir in the White House. Imagine if the Poodle had won (you know, if Bush didn't "steal" the election). These two guys in a row in the White House? OMG, the Oval Office would have to be renamed the Chicken Ranch.

Good morning China...

Three new Tomahawk equipped Trident subs surfaced simultaneously within range of China the other day. 460+ Tomahawks carry a strong message and have a tendency to ruin your breakfast.

"U.S. officials deny any message is being directed at Beijing, saying the Tomahawk triple-play was a coincidence." 8O

One trillion buys you 13%...

Posted By Mike Strieber

To use Democrat-speak: An overwhelmingly huge 13% of the US population believes Obama's economic policies have helped them. Clearly a resounding success.

Quite a coincidence that a full 13% of Americans believe the new healthcare law will help them. Thank god Obama and his fellow Democrats know better than the rest of us what is in our best interest or we wouldn't have had these 13% of Americans happy.

I can tell you what is not in Obama's best interest; reading this CBS poll. These are some horrible numbers, from the economy to the AZ law, he's on the wrong side of every issue. The Dems are imploding right before our eyes. Nancy yesterday blew her top at the White House, Harry Reid shocking Americans with his jaw-dropping statements about illegal immigrants, Obama losing support from the left, and even a biased media running out of ways to cover for him.

The good news? 80% of the country thinks Obama's personal economic policies have created and saved a plethora of jobs at golf courses around the country. wink

How bad is the outlook? We have a choice in NV of Harry Reid or "Crazy Sharron" Angle and the lunatic Angle is the better choice by far. Now that's scary.

Who is ultimately paying Rangel's legal bills?

"Mostly corporate and union political action committees along with individual lobbyists."

"In 2009, three-fourths of Rangel's $2.16 million in campaign spending went to legal fees."

This is why people who claim the Republicans are in bed with big business and Democrat's are for the "little people" look stupid. It's a bunch of bs talking points being regurgitated by people who have no idea what they're talking about. All politicians, regardless of party, are dependent on corporations and lobbyists. To claim this is the domain of the Republicans is a display of pure ignorance.

I hope Rangel defends himself to the bitter end; please don't resign Charlie, I'm begging you. Let's see this guy do the perp walk in mid-October. How's the swamp draining going Nancy? Or is it only the Republican half of the swamp that needs draining?

Sharron Angle

Posted By Mike Strieber

I'm going to a meeting with Sharron Angle tonight. Should be interesting in that I think she's an idiot. I will tell her however, I will not vote for her for what she can do for Nevada or for the nation but because I think she will do less damage to the nation than Harry Reid.

Anybody have any questions for her? Maybe about BP's "slush fund"; or why she said BP is being demonized unfairly; or perhaps why she supported a bill allowing NV state prison inmates massages paid for by taxpayers; or maybe why she wants to disband the Department of Education and do-away with social security? Or perhaps even why she would advise a hypothetical 13-year-old rape-incest victim to steer clear of abortion and make “a lemon situation into lemonade.” Or maybe why all three Republicans in the primary were ahead of Harry Reid by 25 points and now Reid is ahead in the polls? Anything like that maybe? grin

What does it tell you about Harry Reid when all that is a better choice? I wonder if they'll let her pack heat on the Senate floor?
