Standing up

Thankfully even the health insurance industry is getting the backbone to step up and just say no to Obama's insanity.

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20091012/D9B9QLO81.html

Democrats and their allies scrambled on Monday to knock down a new industry-funded study forecasting that Senate legislation, over time, will add thousands of dollars to the cost of a typical policy.

Complaints from the sniveling Dems who control the government and who have twisted and lied about the health insurance issue from the start? Libs love to say that Repubs have no ideas and do not want to improve the health care system. When they make these typically liberal statements, they are telling bold faced lies. It is not that conservatives do not want to improve the system, it is that we disagree with the solutions that libs come up with. Liberal solutions are not about fixing anything, they are simply all about fulfilling the lib doctrine of taking full political advantage of disasters and creating disasters that do not exist.

Thankfully elections are coming.

Yes..indeed elections are coming and when the republicans sweep them and the Dems are put to pasture.....Obama will be in *LOCKDOWN*. Rendered ineffectual....

Rolling

On this glorious anniversary of the idiot being annoyed to the White House by his racist comrades, we are seeing that the people have apparently learned their lesson. Conservatives and Republicans are rolling over the lib machine powered by the Obama ... cough cough ... campaign. While libs thought that their extremist socialist leader and his insane policies would bring nirvana to this country, we have seen that the community organizer from the hood knows little more than the lessons he learned from his mentors and buddies, Wright and Aires. We have seen their devastation, and this opening folly for the mid term election looks to be a positive change for the country.

If you're a DEM and you still have the ability to pull your head from the backside of the DNC....you will probably know by now that your job is up.. come election day if you don't grow a brain and stop spending Americas's future on worthless..selfserving..unproductive..special interest boneheaded..mindless...down right scandalous scemes. I can't wait for the day Obama becomes a postage stamp...with as much power when he is a lone *Infestation*.

Conservative America is going to take back America from the theves who have hypnotized many by promising *change* without clearingly telling you they plan on *changing* America *FUNDAMENTALY* from the land of the free to the land of the debter. 8O

Islam for infidel dummies

Well said....

Kill yourself or we will have to do it for you. Isn't that simple? Political correctness trys to eliminate the recent history of Islam's effect on our lives. Even the commanding general of the U.S. Army has fallen victim to it. [B]ALL[B] religiously inspired attacks on earth have been by Muslims and yet the liberal forces in the world do not charge them with their crimes. This shall not stand. Wake up people, put aside your cowardice and face the enemy. Muslims are not your friends. How many Ft. Hoods, 9/11's, Beltway snipers, and plots discovered, will it take for you to realize that you are a target?

More than half believe that cancelling the stimulus package will actually result in more jobs. Only three out of ten believe that continuing the stimulus will help the economy. Six out of ten Americans believe that tax cuts will be better for our economy than more stimulus spending.

How to pass health care reform

Posted By Rob Wiederrich

david elosser said:

The old fashioned way.

By buying votes of course!

On page 432 of the Reid bill, there is a section increasing federal Medicaid subsidies for “certain states recovering from a major disaster.”

How many states qualify for extra Medicaid subsidies?

‘‘(2) In this subsection, the term ‘disaster-recovery FMAP adjustment State’ means a State that is one of
the 50 States or the District of Columbia, for which, at any time during the preceding 7 fiscal years, the President has declared a major disaster under section 401 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act and determined as a result of such disaster that every county or parish in the State warrant individual and public assistance or public assistance from the Federal Government under such Act and for which— ‘‘(A) in the case of the first fiscal year (or part of a fiscal year) for which this subsection applies to the State, the Federal medical assistance percentage determined for the State for the fiscal year without regard to this subsection and subsection (y), is less than the Federal medical assistance percentage determined for the State for the preceding fiscal year after the application of only subsection (a) of section 5001 of Public Law 111–5 (if applicable to the preceding fiscal year) and without regard to this subsection, subsection (y), and subsections (b) and (c) of section 5001 of Public Law 111–5, by at least 3 percentage points; and ‘‘(B) in the case of the second or any succeeding fiscal year for which this subsection applies to the State, the Federal medical assistance percentage determined for the State for the fiscal year without regard to this subsection and subsection (y), is less than the Federal medical assistance percentage determined for the State for the preceding fiscal year under this subsection by at least 3 percentage points.

In other words: Louisiana. Cost $100 Million Dollars. Harry Reid put that in to buy Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu's vote. Now y'all in La. know how much your Senator can be bought for. wink

Criticism of US military by Navy vet

Posted By Rob Wiederrich

Darian Rachal said:

I've stated before how I find the 'glorification' of the military distasteful. I'm not antimilitary, but I suspect there is a tremendous amount of money wasted on miltary spending and to be quite frank, everytime I think about the US government forcing 18 year old 'kids' into the military and shipping them over to die in the Vietnam 'farce', I get a bit nauseated. There is a WalMart commercial about a pathetic looking little boy wishing it would snow for his father stationed in the Middle East. "Something" about that commercial "rubs me the wrong way". I guess they are trying to evoke(manipulate) certain emotions.

Anyway, enough of my 'babbling'; I find this vet's thoughts on the military interesting and I suspect may be shared by many. http://www.lewrockwell.com/cooper/cooper25.1.html

He's weak minded.

Short stay miffs Norwegians...

Posted By Rob Wiederrich

The Obamanator..doesn't care about saving Norwegian children...it doesn't fit his arrogant profile.
He has the odious gal to accept an award that he did absolutely NOTHING to deserve..so what makes anyone assume he cares about kids he didn't father.

He's an arrogant pig.
