How do you like the 1001E chip? I have one of those in my AP6E, and it's not bad, except for a bit more dark current than newer chips.
Your 5" f/5 is pretty much the same as my Orion 120ST....you got some impressive detail, so I might have to try a combo like that with my equipment.

With my old SBIG setup, the on-camera guiding was always trouble for me, even with my color filters, let alone narrowband.
I finally went to a separate guider.
