He couldn't have been the first politician to say he got cheated in the election.
He isn't close to being the first or the last. In other races in different years, less would have been made of remarks like his.

I would have guessed a smaller number. This is an issue that people have decided. Nothing will move them. Triple to 150 million? Force people to watch a video? Shoulders shrug. A video horrific enough to change minds would outrage people so much that it would be banned before more than a few viewed it.

Greg's post showed some of the issues the politicians would like us to be thinking about. 
Is there a thought on how we quit spending, what is it, twice what we take in? Year after year?
Nobody cares? Politicians will not speak of it until voters demand it or there is some kind of collapse.
We could pretend we are politicians and just let our children deal with it. Somehow.

The answer sure isn't anything Trump did or Biden's "Spend it better by spending trillions more"
Doesn't anybody think it is stupid to ignore the big problem and holler about the little ones?

And the WSJ Opinion writes that despite the hype job the Dems are doing on the "insurrection" our democratic institutions held up under the pressure and GOP officials and legislators certified electoral votes despite Trump complaints.

Still, Dems are doing their best to not let a "crisis" go to waste. It is difficult to believe they think Trump and the "insurrection" are winning issues for another year? Two years?  Watching the president struggle a few times a week has more effect than watching people in goofy get-ups raise Hell in DC.

That said, I agree with you that the midterms will likely be decided on price of gasoline in which case we will more of the Trump sycophants in office, not to mention the election officials who currently further Trump's big lie and will likely act to overthrow the will of the people if another presidential election doesn't go their way... 
But the "insurrection" also did not come close to "overturning a legitimate presidential election."

Also, Trump election officials are not "likely to act to overthrow the will of the people."
