So take a guess how many refugees Hawaii took in during 2015.... A grand total of SEVEN. One from the Ukraine, one from China and five from Burma none of which are Middle Eastern countries notorious for exporting extremists.

Now take another guess how many they have EVER taken in from one of the countries on the temporary travel ban list.....NOT ONE, EVER. (NOR are they asking for any)

Yet that pack of liberal hypocrites in Hawaii feels they have a right to speak up regarding what the rest of the country has to do? It is my sincere wish that Trump sign an EO stating the next 10,000 refugees from those countries will be sent directly to Hawaii, not pass go and not collect $200 and let them reap what they sow. No doubt the gnashing of teeth and the wails of woe would be deafening. No doubt it would also be music to my ears

Herein lies the recipe for and the cure to all that ails our country and our government today. Virutally all our problems can be traced to the corrupt, power hungry machinations of those who have twisted the "general welfare clause" of the constitution into something far removed from what the founders envisioned.

You can rest assured that the politicians running our government are NOT going to do anything about this until they are given no choice or shown the door by the people. The government has no place in healthcare whatsoever or at least not in any fashion other than perhaps in a regulatory sense and even then ONLY at the state level.

Smart like a fox.....How better to insure your enemies stay honest than to imply that there may be recordings of your conversation? So Trump has now stated there are no Comey tapes after implying there may have been......

Thus "I hope" stayed "I hope" instead of becoming "drop it" during the Comey testimony......LOL

Man if Justice Kennedy retires as predicted and Ginsburg follows suit as is certainly likely I am going to say even with all of Trump's flaws it will have been 100% worth it as we will find ourselves with a USSC that actually follows the Constitution instead of writing their own on the fly.

I find myself both facinated and disgusted by the amount of misinformation being bandied around regarding Special Prosecutor/Investigator Robert Mueller and him having empaneled a Grand Jury to investigate Trump and company.

1st off Grand Juries are empaneled by a federal court not by Robert Mueller. In fact at any given time there is a sitting Grand Jury in any given federal court district since once empaneled they hear/participate in multiple cases/investigations for a period of 18 to sometimes as much as 36 months. Once their time expires a new jury is selected or the existing one is re-empaneled, most of the time every 18 months. Mueller's mandate allows him to present to a Grand Jury if he chooses to but not to create one.

I also keep hearing that Mueller must have evidence to present in order for a Grand Jury to hear a case or be formed. NOT EVEN CLOSE to true as evidenced by the quote below from the Congressional Research Service (CRS) which is prepared for Members and Committees of Congress to brief them on the function and scope of Federal Grand Juries. As part of Mueller's mandate he was empowered to call upon a Grand Jury to participate if he chose to but the idea that he could specifically empanel one is hog wash.

""The federal grand jury enjoys sweeping authority. It may begin its examination even in the absence of probable cause or any other level of suspicion that a crime has been committed within its reach. In the exercise of its jurisdiction, the grand jury may “investigate merely on suspicion
that the law is being violated, or even just because it wants assurance that it is not,” and its inquiries “may be triggered by tips, rumors, evidence proffered by the prosecutor, or the personal knowledge of the grand jurors.” Unrestrained “by questions of propriety or forecasts of the probable result of the investigation or by doubts whether any particular individual will be found properly subject to an accusation,” its “investigation is not fully carried out until every available clue has been run down and all witnesses examined in every proper way to find if a crime has been committed.”"

As you can see not even a shred of evidence must exist as a Grand Jury exists to INVESTIGATE whether any evidence does exist so that they can indict someone for trial in federal court. They can investigate even on unfounded rumor or even just because they feel like it. "Even in the absense of probable cause or any other level of suspicion"

IMO the fact that not a shred of evidence against Trump and company has been leaked from the leakiest government we have seen in decades means the so called "Grand Jury" investigation is nothing more than an escalation of the "witch hunt" thats been in process for months now. All just an escalation of the efforts of the left and the Rino's agenda to discredit and hinder this duly elected administration. Its been what, 7 months now and there are still 120 judgeships to be appointed and vetted which isn't happening due to obstruction of the process? I can find a lot not to like about Trump but it isn't his policies and goals.

A perfect example of one of the more frustrating things about the forums. Currently when I go into the forum I most participate in the new post status says there are 12 new messages. Yet when I actually go in an open the forum there are only 5 new posts to be found that actually have NEW beside them. Usually its not quite this blatantly inaccurate but is consistently inaccurate particularly regarding hot topics.

That combined with the inaccurate tracking of previously read posts ie they don't stay greyed out once read making it hard to keep your place in a conversation spread over multiple days and topics that get several pages long combined with the system not keeping the NEW flag between visits does make participating in the forums very frustrating at times.
