It's been a while since I owned a G11, but I'd say that the EM200 is roughly comparable in size,perhaps a bit lighter. I find it easier to move about than the G11 because the GEM head can be quickly removed from the tripod. Regarding capacity, the EM200 will easily handle the M250 and FSQ. I use heavy imaging equipment atop my EM 200 and it handles everything without any problems whatsoever. Quality wise, go with the EM200. It is a superb mount and a significant step up from the G11. If you're strictly a visual observer, either mount will keep you happy. If you're sure you'll be using an M250, go with the EM200 rather than the EM-11. You'll appreciate the extra capacity of the EM200.
