Meade 8.8mm with loose retaining rings?

You can simply unscrew the barlow element out and use a pen tip to tighten the retaining ring. No problem I'm surprised he even mentioned it rather than just doing it himself.

Can anyone use a binoviewer with these? I wonder if those with a close eye placement might have trouble getting a view through both at the same time due to barrel size. BTW I love my new Ethos! I can't get the view out of my head either. I see it in my dreamssmile

I had problems with my ethos fitting into the paracorr so like Mike said I placed an aluminum stip of tape around it and now I like it even more. See.

21 Ethos vs. ES20

You have the same eyepieces as I: the E8 and E13 and the ES 20. I also may upgrade to the E21 because I don't like the recessed eyelens in the ES20. It unnecessarily reduces the eye relief to the point where eyeglass wearers have difficulty. Everything else is first rate. It would be nice to hear a comparison on deep sky with a newt.

I wonder the same about Taylor but his In the Ghetto rendition was extremely well done. I'm a huge Elvis fan and waited 5 years for that night and it didn't dissapoint.
