While I appreciate your concern Rod I can assure you that if you are inside of a mile away I could ring your bell with my .338 Lapua Magnum like clockwork......

Great night with good views. Don's a nice guy, visit his website:

I would be willing to bet I spend more time under the stars than you Rod.......rarely does a week go by I am not fumbling around in the dark and more often than not at least 2 or 3 times a week. Though the weather occasionally keeps me in the shop piddling with something to do with either scopes, guns or motorcycles smile

Advice on mount purchase

Posted By Greg Shaffer
90% of my astro gear was purchased used including all my mounts.....no regrets on that front.

Out of the list you posted the Mach1 would be my choice without any reservations. Nothing wrong with the paramount, I am just not a fan of their business model. The other two simply are not in the quality range of the Mach1 and their support is 1st class.

Had The Background Check Been Done

I did see earlier accounts of  FBI mistakes making his background check worthless.
In the race to be first in big events some of the news is also worthless.

If it was a private sale there was no background check involved.

The (Latest) Texas Mass Shooting

Not to mention that a very small percent of those shooting deaths are from "assault weapons" like AR15's, AK47's etc.....less than 3%.....but to hear the lefties tell it getting rid of them is the cure LOL

"Stupidity personified" is a good phrase for it.....
