Very nice, indeed.
I could actually see 1491 in my scope from the front of my house since it responds well to either an 0111 filter or an ultrablock filter.
I particularly liked your enlarged image of ic342 with the arms of the galaxy extending out ward in almost a 3D effect.

Floyd's is better! Just like the last one which was better that the hobbling Hubble. In fact, we ought to get Floyd and Roland up there to fix that sucker! We need real space cowboys and not some NASA screw-ups! grin

Looks like you did fine despite some equipment issues at the time. I checked the clear sky clock for California, Nevada and New Mexico this past observing weekend and Lockwood Valley/Mt Pinos appeared to have the best combo of seeing and transparency. It'll be a shame when Centennial City goes in and light pollutes the whole area. Better get the images while you can...

Well, the seeing was good on Saturday evening, then again it WAS the evening that I was present! However, it did NOT meet Floyd Blue specs of SUSTAINED SUBARC SECOND seeing for SEVENTY-TWO SECONDS. Why 72 seconds?
Seventy-two seconds in the minimum amount of time necessary to confirm the existence of an extra-terrestrial radio transmission as noted by SETI. The famous WOW signal met that criteria, BTW. The point source from it has been projected to be from a location near a star in Sagittarius. That's probably Floyd's home away from home. grin

Nice shot, Chris. I can observe this fairly easily in my 16" in moderately light polluted skies. Here's an image from a 20" and yours compares favorably:
