Lead-managed by APM, this high quality triplet apochromat with an FPL53 ED element has been designed to be an optimal travel scope. Even at highest magnifications, the image is kept free of false colour and has a high grade of correction. The fast f/6 system is not only short and compact; it also gives the short exposure times astro photographers want.

The 2" Crayford focuser with 1:11 transmission allows precise focusing and keeps even heavy accessories at the focal plane. The force of three radial locking screws is transmitted by a brass clamping ring. The focuser is rotatable by 360° in order to provide the optimal camera position.

Hello

who have ever used a sard 6 x 42 under night sky ? I have a chance to buy one , but cannot find clear infos about its night time quality.

In one little review I read its not sharp t the edge of its 12° but only the outer 20% are falling off

has ever one of you used such a binocular and can tell me a little more ?

also does anybody now what is the rough value of a sample in great condition ?

Massimo Riccardi, famous optical Designer from Italy, designed for APM-Telescopes a new 3 element ( with ED Glas) 0.75 x Apo-Reducer/Flattener Corrector for all TMB-APM-LZOS Apochromatic Telescopes. First Tests show that it also works on Apos from other manufacturers very well

The corrector was designed to work with most diffrent telescopes, by changing little the backfocuse only.

The Coating of the corrector is optimized for modern CCD Camera spectral range.

The correctors performance was designed to have very zero to very low edge vigneting, tight spots nd a large corrected image circle

We choosed in the design 2 diffrent size of reducers

Model 1, small version has at both ends standart Metric M63 x 1 thread for which many adapters available off the shelf. It screws straight into the 2.5" Starlight Instruments Feather Touch focuser and new APM 2.5" Focuser

This small version has a corrected image circle up to 52 mm for the APM Triplets 80/500 and 80/480 and corrected image circle of 40 mm for all APM/LZOS Apos 100 mm up to 152 mm and a backfocuse from corrector mechanics to CCD chip, little above 70 mm

This smaller version works perfect with our Apo Telescopes from 80 mm up to 152 mm diameter with 2.5" focusers

Model 2,big version has a corrected image circle up to 52 mm and a backfocuse from corrector mechanics to CCD chips, little above 75 mm. The big version has at both ends a metric M82 x1 thread and works perfect with 3", 3.5" and 4" focusers. Here also many adapters available off the shelf.

our own Maschine shop can and will make you any necassary adapter for perfect spacing and your focuser.

The big corrector is optimized for all TMB-APM-LZOS Apos 100 mm up to 254 mm diameter , plus APM Apo 107/700 and works also well on some chinese Apos with similar sizes and f-ratios

Riccardi - Reducer / Flattener Adjustment Flange large

For our new Riccardi Reducer / Flattener we can offer you additional for the exact adjustment at tilting this new adjustment flange. With three screws it is possible to adjust the reducer exactly straight to get the maximum sharpness over the whole field.

After some delay the next optical set for a high quality 400 mm Maksutov Cassegrain has arrived, tube is almost completed and get assembled soon with some little extra work. The Master Matthias Wirth is again doing all mechanical work.

the famous optical designer from Italy , Massimo Riccardi designed for APM-Telescopes a universal Reducer/Flattener , which is supplied with diffrent settings as a universal reducer for russian made TMB-APM-LZOS Apos, but with resetting also working same good with the new Synta/Celestron 120 mm F/7 and 150 mm F/7 FLP 53 triplet apos and also with APM and Astrotech Apos and United Optics triplets. They might also work on many other apos, but w ehave no zemax datas to guarantee that.

A friend have tested the large once with a full format camera and also got perfect stars in center and at the edge, but he still working on his image restauration, before publishing

we have shipped out last week many more and expecting soon many images from users.

Please allow me to post this news here at this group, because its a breakthrough many owners of apos have been waiting for it for very many years and the TMB Yahoo group is to my knowledge almost dead.

we have for LZOS apos 3 models, all using the same lenses, but diffrent airgaps for optimisation

Set 1 is for LZOS 152/1200
Set 2 is for LZOS 203/1420
Set 3 is for all other lZOS apos with diffrent backfocuse setting.

the image circle covered is 52 mm with very low edge vigneting.

we have a second modell with smaller lenses same perfect for 42 mm image circle, but still working with a 52 mm image circle if you can live with a larger edge vigneting of about 35 %

we supply matched camera adapters on request and focuser adapters.

The revolution here is the superb performance, the very low edge vigneting and only about half or less price then any available today from other companys for such big image circle.

In total we have sold last 12 years thousands of TMB-APM-LZOS Apos where maybe one or the other wants such a reducer flattener

The new 2-lens Super ED Apo has been developed from the best known optical
designer Massimo Riccardi. The optics will be produced by the company LZOS in
Russia with the same high quality as the 3-lens LZOS Apochromats. The choosed
glass material combination is OK4 (Super ED) and OF1 (Russian equivalent to
Schott KzFSN2). This combination reaches the best possible colorcorrection for
such a large and fast 2-lens Apochromat. This optics is a airspaced Apochromat
and all 4 optical surfaces are broadband multicoated. Each optics has an serial
number and will be delivered with an interferometrical test report.

The dew cap and the main tube are made from Kruppax 50, all other parts are made
from high quality aluminium, CNC turned and milled. Tube and dew cap are
lacquered with RAL 9001 creme white, the aluminium parts are painted matt black.
The dew cap is screwed and retractable to get a shorter transportation length
and has an shade at the front end which holds back dew from the lens for a
longer time.

The focuser is our new 2.5" APM rack and pinion focuser. This includes a sturdy
holder for 50 mm viewfinder with quick changing bracket which is made so prezise
that you can change the finder many times and it´s always well adjusted.

The tuberings are made from black powdercoated CNC machined aluminium and comes
with a flat base and top wih a central 1/4" thread and 2 outer 1/4" threads with
60mm center to center space (Astrophysics Norm).

For the most an 152 mm f/8 is the largest transportable High End Apochromat. You
can use it with binoviewer and it is also a perfect astrograph with our new
Riccardi Reducer.

Optional this telescopes can be attached with a Starlight Feather Touch Focuser
from 2" to 3.5". Please call us for prices!
