And a closeup of the Great Blue Heron, a 100% crop using the Canon 70-300 DO IS, handheld. Location, fast running creek in Berkeley Hills, SF Bay Area, swollen by recent heavy rains. The lens is borrowed. I'm considering getting a long Fl lens for my Canon 350D and wanted to try out a zoom. I find I use it alamost exclusively at 300mm for birding., so a fixed length lens of at least 300mm is a possibilty. Suggestions?
