Bruce Castor’s meanderings at the start of the impeachment trial

Posted By Mel Maki

I would be slow to believe these guys. This was a well known "secret." Others are saying he owed millions and now tens of millions are missing. At least twenty men are charging him with abuse. Be a long time before more is known.

It would be easier to get "insurrection" if they had guns and the votes were not quickly approved.

Former Republican officials float possibility of forming 'center-right' party

The rest of the nation, not to mention the world, are watching and the majority of voters who elected Biden are also the ones likely to elect the next president. The nuts in the GOP aren't going to change so that faction in the party will not adapt and modify its behavior. They're more likely to become a fringe element over time and many of them think Trump will regain the presidency on March 4th. The net result will be a split in the Republican party...
The forum cons did not watch the trial? They have less understanding how the gov works? The forum has shown you otherwise but you could have missed it.

WASHINGTON — Senator Mitch McConnell said he believed that Donald J. Trump was undeniably guilty of a “disgraceful dereliction of duty” on Jan. 6, when he incited and then failed to do anything to halt a deadly assault on the Capitol.

“There’s no question — none — that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day,” Mr. McConnell, the Kentucky Republican, and minority leader, declared Saturday afternoon in an anti-Trump diatribe so scathing that it could have been delivered by any of the nine House prosecutors seeking a conviction.

To believe that Trump is not guilty, you would have to conclude that OBL was not responsible for 9/11 because he did not fly the planes into the buildings. He merely asked and inspired people to do it, gave money, resources, and oxygen to the effort, set the plan in motion, and launched the action from afar. Every honest person knows Trump is guilty, and a super-majority of Americans think he is responsible for the Capitol attack.
OBL?
Trump wanted to kill?
Is prison too good?

The "First Past the Post" voting system is never kind to 3rd parties - they just become spoilers... we have had that here in Canada for decades - the Conservative and Liberal parties sort of alternate governments with the NDP flailing around in 3rd place pretty much permanently....

Dave
The two parties have rigged the system and it is difficult to change. Even when Perot got 19% it didn't last long.

Some see a similarity, some do not, that's all.

Rush Limbaugh dead at 70

Posted By Mel Maki

I moved from a sixties liberal to the center in the first half of the eighties. I first heard Rush in the late eighties and most of my friends did not like him, at all. Even the name was weird. I put a Rush bumper sticker on my friend's beat up work truck for a "joke" and nobody thought it was funny. After a few months we realized Rush was serious and here to stay. Eventually, he did make it more cool to be on the right.

You see a poll you like and it is gospel!

Rush Limbaugh dead at 70

He talked three hours a day. Millions of words. Yet, very few times did he step in it so badly that people were able to easily take him apart.
