There is a list of players on the left whose day in the harsh light of truth is slowly approaching.

The problem is that if you survey the journalistic landscape, the only ones that are peddling the anti-Trump deep-state DOJ machinations are the usual suspects like Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and other conservative talk-show hosts like Buck Sexton, Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh. Outside of this tight-knit right-wing echo-chamber, you never hear these accusations or this narrative taken seriously. This conspiracy theory, is in fact, routinely ridiculed by sober-minded journalists and serious-minded policy and political wonks. The most likely outcome is that absolutely no one is going to be indicted or charged with any crime related to this conspiracy theory. Meanwhile, all sorts of people close to Trump and possibly even Trump himself will continue to be indicted, convicted and ultimately serve jail time for crimes. After all, the best predictor of the future is the past. You don't need to read tea leaves to see what is eventually coming.

Perhaps you didn't hear or read the NY Times recently but they printed an op-ed by someone inside the Trump administration who wrote a 27 paragraph piece that was printed by the NY Times, whose headline was precisely "I am the Resistance".

They would be in no particular order:  Sarah Carter, John Solomon, Kim Strassel, Jonah Goldberg,  Steven Ahle, and myriads of others.  Those are a few off the top of my head.

I won't waste my time trying to convince a CNN/MSNBC subscriber of anything that has occurred because your pundits strive to keep you in the dark.

All that they ever screech is Trump Collusion, Trump Collusion, Trump Collusion, Trump Collusion 24 hours of the day every day.

You wouldn't know a fact if it came up and bit you on your back side, but that really isn't your fault because they keep you in the dark.

It always amazes me how it is impossible for you to make any statement without peppering it with personal attack and insults. Truly incredible.

Of course, I heard about the op-ed, and you know this, and I'm also aware that Trump and the right-wing media are spinning the op-ed as evidence that there is a deep-state cabal out to get him. Here's the problem, with that narrative though. The person or persons who wrote the op-ed are members of the Trump administration. They are not pernicious members of some deep-state whose job is to oust Trump from the Presidency. The author(s) said that they don't have the political capital to use amendment 25 and that they are merely trying to protect the US from Trump's worst proclivities. They even praised the administration and said: "they want it to succeed." Maybe you missed that part or the part where the author(s) addressed the deep state directly and said, "This isn't the work of the so-called deep state." This narrative that the op-ed is evidence of the anti-Trump deep state is just desperation.

Once again, for the thousandth time, I don't watch CNN or MSNBC.

Once again, for the two-thousandth time, the only person who routinely brings up collusion is you and Trump.

As for your list, all of those people are right-leaning conservative opinion editorial writers. Especially in the case of Sarah Carter who is a Fox News contributor and Jonah Goldberg. They are both well known conservative author and right-wing provocateurs. You always have a problem discerning opinion from fact. I suppose it's why you still to this day post links to tabloids like the NYPOST.

This summary of the findings so far that I cut-and-pasted below are not delusions:

Another 23 counts against President Trump’s former deputy campaign manager Rick Gates were vacated when he agreed to cooperate with Mueller

Thirty-two people and three businesses have been named in plea agreements or indictments

Six guilty pleas from five defendants, including Gates, former national security adviser Michael Flynn, former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos, businessman Richard Pinedo and lawyer Alex van der Zwaan

Former campaign chairman Paul Manafort faces 25 criminal counts

Van der Zwaan served about four weeks in prison and has been deported to the Netherlands, his home country

The indictments include charges of conspiracy against the United States; conspiracy to defraud the United States; conspiracy to obstruct justice; conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud; bank fraud; obstruction of justice; aggravated identity theft; failure to report foreign bank accounts; and tax fraud

Embracing unsupported and blatantly false assertions is a problem on both sides. I mostly blame siloed fan-servicing media practices that exist on both sides, but in my humble opinion are far worse on the right.

For example, as evidence of it being rampant on both sides, 59% of Republicans believe that millions of illegal votes were cast in the Presidential election of 2016 and 55% of Democrats believe that Russia tampered with vote tallies to get Trump elected. Both of these claims have no basis in fact or reality.

There is no need to be coy. We all know the only person who ever red lines this forum is Richard. His recent display of trying to publicly out someone's supposed sexual orientation was especially disgusting.

I have never complained to Herb about anything. I've always just assumed putting up with your acrid personality was the cost of admission.

And yes, you did publicly out someone's sexual orientation in retaliation for a perceived insult.

I certainly don't care what your sexual orientation is, but apparently, Richard views it as something to attack your character. I don't care what Richard says, or how he now tries to deny it, or spin otherwise, publicly outing someone's supposed sexual orientation to attack their character is disgusting and piggish behavior. Not surprising for Richard of course, since after all, this is not the first time he has tried to dox you. Even Richard's favorite wingman Greg realized Richard was behaving overtly offensively. Why else would he have jumped in and tried to smooth things over with his chill pill comments? In any case, no one will ever get Richard to take responsibility for his behavior here, and honestly, I have come to expect no less from him other than offensive and intolerant behavior.

There is a well-known stereotype that suggests that those that are more hostile towards gays and hold strong anti-gay views themselves have same-sex desires, albeit undercover ones. Therefore, should I conclude that you are a closeted gay? Of course not, and the stereotype I mentioned is as misleading as your own.
