#221718 shows NGC 7000 Region.. My question ; I see the Nebulosity Clouds, but am curious about the Millions of back-ground Stars? Is there any way of determining average distance(space)between individuals stars?? Wow! Thanks , John M

I enjoy tack sharp views with my Pan. 35mm. (have a C8) my question is; how will the image appear if I employ a TV Big 2x Barlow..? this will increase my Mag. from 58X to 116X. Has anyone tried this combo..? and could you tell me if this would be a worthwhile venture? thanks, & I hoping your skys are clearer than mine are, John M. Astoria, OR.

Gentlemen, is it necessary to employ an interface when using a 2X Barlow with a 35mm. Pan. ( Tele Vue I hear recommends one ) appreciate any thoughts/experiences with these .. John M

I see when reading this forum that the Hydrogen Beta filter is highly recommended for faint Nebula, ie, Horsehead.(which in my case will never observe from *here)
The only filter I presently have in my case is a Celestron LPR # 94126A It works fine on M-42 & M-27, but they are larger and brighter..I have in mind locating M-1 Crab. *somewhere near Zeta. Will be looking for it at the 1st. window of opportunity (raining for the past several weeks)
*OREGON COAST. Also what Power x is best suited? I own a C8
have a 35mm. Pan with 2" Big barlow/interface, and a Lanthanum Superwide 17mm. among my better EPs. Any suggestion on potential targets would be appreciated, my "Go to system" is my left hand.. Thank you, John M

When Barlowing my Pan 35mm. with Tele Vue's 2" BIG Barlow, I found I had to acquire the TV interface, my question is; I have heard that when joined together the system can be used like a *Powermate, is this correct? Have not had the chance to experiment yet, too wet """""" thank you John M
