This is a cave near Turkey's southern coast, not far from Kiskalesi. It has a 1,000 year old Byzantine church in the entrance, and steps going down 120 meters into the cave. There is another opening nearby, a pit over 100 meters deep with no way down (except for a long rappel). Together, the pair of chasms are known as "Heaven and Hell." Ruins around the openings are associated with Roman and Byzantine temples and churches, and a necropolis. The cave ends at a pool of water, but somewhere beyond a sizable river roars over some falls.
