I captured a Half Moon peering over a thunderstorm a few minutes after sunset on 2003 JUL 06 from Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Here's a shot I took James, of the Cresent moon next to Venus from my house in south central Connecticut. I used a Nikon 600mm at 125th of a second. There's a flight path over our house for planes from NYC to Boston. This one is at about 25,000 feet. Clouds were coming in fast, and I managed to get only 2 frames off. Enjoy!
