We had high clouds passing through, but enough clear patches to get some images...this is a montage of 3, beginning, middle and end of totality. Nikon D50 through an Orion ED80 with 0.8 FR/FF. Assembled in PSCS3. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

We had high "come and go" clouds in North Texas but it was a fine show.

This shot was made near mid eclipse. 6 seconds with an Olympus E-500 DSLR through an Orion 110ED with a ATFF on a CI-700 mount.

Nice montage, John. My wife and I set our alarm to get up just before totality, so we had a view very similar to your three shots. I was hoping to get some photos with my new D7000 and SV105 but I couldn't find my Nikon T-adapter :C . It was clear here in Denver, temperature 31*F during the portion of the eclipse we watched -- really quite balmy for December.

Here is one more...this is a composite of three exposures, 1/50th, 1/20th and 2 sec, once the moon started emerging from the umbra. This was hard to make "natural" looking, dealing with the huge dynamic range between the sunlit and shaded portions of the moon. I used layers, curves, levels, masks, burning, dodging, etc.
