I am pretty new at this DSLR astrophotography. Advice is welcome. Here is an Okie-Tex shot of the California Nebula, my first try at this one. 5X300 seconds with a Zuiko 200mm telephoto and modded XT piggyback unguided on a 66mm and G-8. Comments and suggestions welcomed!

Not that I'm into astrophotography much at all... though I occasionally think I'd LIKE to get into it with my DSLR... but I'd be happy to get THAT shot of the California Nebula ANY TIME!

that's the picture I tried to take last night...Haven't had time to get it out of the computer. I like your star colors in particular. I'll go see what I got!
