This is an image of the Venus occultation this past Wednesday Apr 22. This occured shortly after sunrise here. The blue haze has been removed in Photoshop. 10" f4.5 Newtonian, Olympus E-500 DSLR. Enjoy! Joe.

Really nice work! The image reminds me of the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey". I see you have an NGT-18, that's my dream scope, how do you like it? Your M57 posting is great, what is the name of that Barred spiral Galaxy to its upper left?
