Greetings,

This was my first attempt at imaging Mars with the ToUcam Pro. I captured this through my C8 and a 2x Barlow. 294 images were aligned and stacked with Registax.

My image processing and editing still needs a lot of work. I'm a newbie at this part of the photographic spectrum. Any and all comments are greatly appreciated. I've browsed over hundreds of images and read numerous postings. It seems to have helped! Everyone else keep up the good work and keep posting for others to enjoy!

Your off to a great start Mark. You have the same problem I have with Mars just not getting high enough in the sky. But if this is your first attempt, your gonna blow away any image I have. Good show old chum!

Very nice, Mark!

Extremely good focus and detail, and your processing is right on.

The only suggestion I could even offer is that you might want to lower the gain and/or brightness next time you capture frames - that will help keep the polar cap from overexposing so much. Right now there is a lot of detail to be captured in the polar region, as the ice is melting.

An excellent image, nonetheless - keep it up!
