Guys...I'm thinking to pick up a Sony F717 Camera...

http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydscf717/

I'll use it for outdoor and for Astrophotography...

is this the right choice or should I get a USED Canon 300D or similar here on Astromart......?

Thanks for the suggestion!

Emanuele, IMHO, even though this IS a nice digital camera, I would personally get a full fledged digital SLR to get the most out of the hobby...

I just like the flexibility/quality that a Digital SLR gives, besides being able to change lenses on them, or shoot without them, just using a T-Adapter on the scope...

Clear skies!

Emanuele, if it is within your budget, the Canon 10D appears to be one of the digital SLR's of choice for astrophotography.
