shadows

Hi,
On Nov 3, I took this picture of a moon feature, (which I don't know the name), but it was very interesting because of it's shodow on the moon's surface.
I used a sony handycam and a 6" reflector telescope.
I think this pick has to be very tall.. any idea about how tall could it be?

Hi Alvaro,

These are mountains adjacent to the crater Plato (just showing in the bottom left of your picture. They do cast very dramatic shadows when the terminator is close by. Do not know how tall they are but I bet they were even taller before the lava flow surrounded them?

According to The Virtual Moon Atlas, Mons Pico is 15 X 9 miles at the base and 7300 feet high. That's 25 X 15 km and 2400 m high metric.
