saturn 5 november

what a great moon and Saturn captures flying by the last weeks congrats to all, I almost doesn't dare to show my Saturn on this forum. But even with very modest seeing and transparancy conditions overhere I try my best, hope you won't be dissapoint.

Hi Jan -

Anyone who is lucky enough to capture a sharp saturn in fine seeing has many more nights when a good night's sleep would have been a better choice . Your shot is a fine result given your seeing conditions. Hang in there - the good nights are ahead!

Great shot Jan!
Don't get discouraged by some of the results you'll get, as conditions won't always be perfect for those great images...
A lot depends on the seeing, and if that is bad, then it does not matter how good your skills and/or equipment are, your shots won't be that good...

Keep it up, keep practicing, and thanks for sharing!

Clear dark cool steady skies!
