Hi:

It has taken me three days of processing to come up with this one. I had to sort through 27 avi's, this is the best one #23 taken at 5:12 UT on December 25th. Several global colors are visible (notice the greens) along with intricate surface markings and all obtained in just average seeing conditions using very modest equipment, a 10" SCT and an SPC900 webcam. I need to keep improving my processing techniques so when good seeing hits I can really put together a nice one, hope you like it.

Cheers, Dan smile

Dan, Congradulations on that excellent image, your best so far! Amazing for those conditions. To fit 27 avis you must have a very large hard drive. Thanks for posting

Steve
