On the 19th I took 40-1min exposures with a Canon 10D at F10 through a 12"LX200, I was very pleased with the results.

Wow.. wonderful shot! Hi Mark, how did you connect the Canon to the telescope? Did you couple the camera to an eyepiece through a digital camera adapter (from scopetronix)? Probably not...
