FR 237 focal reducer on other scopes?

Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows if the the SBIG FR 237 focal reducer can be used on non SCT scopes? I was thinking
of a ST 237 camera + FR 237 on a schmidt newtonian.

Would there be serious vignetting? spherical abberation?

I don't know if it will work on this scope. I use the .595 FR 237 on refractors and it works. The .375 will not come to focus, however. Try the .595 and it may also work on your scope.
