Hi All,
I finally got around to processing some AVIs I took of Saturn on Jan 22, 2005 using the Astronomical Society of Harrisburg's 17 inch Classical Cassegrain and a Toucam 740. Attached is the result from one of the best AVIs.

In the upper left of the image I added a slightly reduced version of the best frame from the stack of 95.

Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Weiman -

The image seems to saturated in the blue channel on my screen. The image is captures good detail in the cloud bands - clearly it is limited by the seeing. This should be a fantastic instrument for the planets when the air settles down.

I look forward to seeing more of your images -
Alan

Hi Weiman,

Nice image. I'd like to see Jupiter imaged with that scope. smile

Clear skies,
