This is an image of comet C/2007 W1 (Boattini). It was taken just before dawn on 8-2-08 at Foxpark, WY. 18" f4.5 JMI Newtonian with ST-2000XM ccd camera. 2x 1 minute shots each of LRGB. Comet aligned image pasted on star aligned image to eliminate color shifting of background stars.

I really like this image.
There seems to be faint tail pointing lower right.

Must image this when the weather finally cooperates.
