This is a composite image of ngc2903 in Leo. The L was taken with a st10xme (1x1 binning) and a 8" Vixen VC200L at f9 and the RGB was taken with a Mewlon 250 at f8 and a ST8E 2x2 binning. The image reduction, resizing, rgb combine and aligning was done in MaximDL ver 4. The LRGB combine was done in Paintshop pro along with some zonal unsharpmasking. The jpeg LRGB image then was selective pixel value hi and low pass filtered in Maxim ver 4 and this was followed by some gaussian wavelet processing in Registax ver3.
90:20:20:20 minute exposures at 250 feet elevation in mag 5 skies.
