I had a rare clear night so I decided to get a H-alpha shot of the Cone/Christmas Tree Nebula. This is four hours through a Tak FSQ-106, Astrodon 6nm Ha filter and a SBIG ST-10E camera.

Great Ha shot Cal! I love the widefield shots of this region...so much going on. The "Fox Fur" area really came out nice.

Incredible Cal!!! Just amazing. I need to try some H-alpha soon... the detail in some areas is just astounding.
