Hi all. I went back out to my dark sky site last night and did a little imaging. Dark skies make me happy. 
After imaging M78 all night (which I am still processing), I turned the scope to M46 and its planetary nebula NGC2438. I always enjoy looking at this cluster through the eyepiece and I thought I would give it a try. Here is the result. This is my first attempt at an object like this one, so go easy on me. I think I could really enjoy imaging these open clusters.... as it only takes a few minutes to take the exposures, not the hours that are needed for deep sky stuff! The processing is easier too!
