I have had the chance to play around with my new used st-7 recently and am happy with how it works. It is much easier to use than my first camera an Meade DSI and the guiding is quite good even with my EQ-6. I use a 10 F5 newt figured by Wooden optics.

Eric,
Very nice shot. I'd be quite interested in hearing your impressions of the mount--I'm beginning to eye one myself. I would be using a separate autoguider and guide scope.
Thanks,
Larry

Nice shot Eric,I had one of those ST7 and then decide to go the one shot colour . It was a lot of fun to shoot with and I liked the on board guide chip in It. I think you will enjoy It .

Cheers

Good work Eric. The ST7 NABG is a great astroid finder too.
