I recently took the plunge into imaging. I've imaged a total of 8 sessions so far. Boy, this is addictive!

Here's one from last night: IC 1318 in H-alpha (4x600s + 1x900s). Atik 16 thru an Orion 120ST @ F4 on a Losmandy G8 manually guided with a Stellacam II Orion 80ED @ F15 (Basically cloned Jim Ferreira's rig). Imaged from central Austin, TX. Naked eye LM approx. 4.5.

Enjoy,

David

David,
You sure are a fast learner! That's a spectacular image. I was actually very impressed with that single frame--very smooth.
Can't wait for more,
Larry
