Bush's earlier reference to an escalation of violence as proof of progress must represent the ultimate spin. Just how far are the hawks are willing to bend the truth in their attempts to justify this mess to the US public? My heart goes out to the servicemen and their families who are continuing to make the greatest sacrifice in this "post-victory" phase of our war.
