Funeral for a dead gorilla (arrangements were made by humans), check it out:

Just what do you guys think is really going on here? Gorillas 'paying their respects' to the dead is very weird to say the least. We generally consider only humans to be abstract-thinking enough to grasp concepts of reverence. Is there some extremely primitive level of 'religion' here? Or just a general expression of grief (itself an impressively complex emotion for an animal)

I've observed dogs mourn if you could use the term after one of there doggie buddies got splattered by a car. I remember in particular this one Dog kept looking down the street as the car the did the deed sped away from the crime scene. Apparently Apes that includes Gorilla's Chimpanzes's and the other tailess varieties seem to have this ability. Whales and Dolphins as well as Elephants seem to mourn for there dead comrades too. Its only human arrogance that decides that only humans are capable of this behavior.
