The Democrat Party has become the party of Hasan Piker and Abdul el Sayed, and is now the party that has become anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, and Anti-American

Bottom line, I am on the fence as to whether your header is best characterized as childish Trump-scale political exaggeration, or lies.

Glad you responded because the header characterization did not come from me, but lifelong former Democrat and Harvard professor emeritus of Constitutional Law Alan Deshowitz, who made those claims including that of the Democrat party being anti-American.

Those were his words verbatim and he made those statements over the weekend on the Erin Molan show.

Furthermore his claims (those in my header) which I outlined went along with his urging of the Democrats everywhere to leave the party that he said had become supportive of those like Hasan Piker and his anti-semitic views.

In fact, Alan Dershowitz went so far as to leave the Democrat party and joined the Republican party.

He didn't just become an independent but he actually joined the Repub. party,

He also stated during that interview that he has spoken to many of his still Democrat friends and they have indicated privately to him that they will be voting for Republicans.

Another statement that Dershowitz made was to say that Donald Trump is the President who has supported Israel more than any other President in the history of this nation.

You might want to pass on that info. to your TDS afflicted friend Rod Kaufman. Oh and Bill Maher, famous left wing pundit indicated that he would probably vote for the Republican party this go round.

I'll pass on your characterization of Alan Dershowitz your assertions about his words that he's promoting childish Trump scale political lies.

Personally, I'll agree with his analysis of what the Democrat party stands for and what the party has become, rather than the shallow and ignorant opinion of a glorified bookeeper on this forum.

Feel free at any time to call up Alan Dershowitz on his podcast to inform him how childish he is and how he lies.

Is it “American” for a U.S. President to badger his own DOJ to continue prosecuting a man for a crime the government’s own evidence showed he didn’t commit, simply because the President was embarrassed by how badly his own contractor botched the resurfacing of the Reflecting Pool?

Is it “American” to imprison people indefinitely without charges or meaningful due process, based largely on who they appear to be?

Is it “American” to use the power of government to punish or intimidate the press for writing stories unflattering to the President—or comedians for mocking him?

Is it “American” to continually praise tyrannical dictators while degrading democratically elected leaders?

WTF "America" did you grow up in?

Hi Russ. I'm interested to see if davis will respond. He only likes to ASK and demand answers to questions, he's not so good at answering those put to him.

He reminds me of the flerfs who post their flat Earth nonsensical drivel on Facebook. I laugh at them, too.

How dumb are you to think Alan Dershowitz is above political exaggeration!   Note that the part I called out as a lie was the first paragraph of your opening post.   I stand by that.   You lied (I know it was for shock value, but it was an obvious lie in any case.)    No lame appeal to Alan Dershowitz or any other logical fallacy is going to help you there.   How inconvenient for you.   Jim

Trump’s banning of CNN etc. from the Whitehouse was ridiculously unconstitutional.   This joins a long list of Trump’s actions that simply can not be defended by a true conservative, or any rational being.   Even bootlickers like Rich would have a tough time defending this.   So as Jim M. notes, expect no reply except for maybe pedantic nit picking of some sort or the other.  J

An alternate reality where he's a man's man and who looks like his avatar, is popular with the women, and has a degree in biomedical engineering (before that, physics).  None of these are true in actual reality.

You mean like the alternate reality where he became an audio engineer and designed a set of stereo speakers. Still waiting for them to hit the market make so I can go to my local hifi shop to give them a listen.

In reality he's nothing but a glorified carpenter, which is a few steps in intelligence and pay grades below a glorified bookkeeper.

An appeal to authority does not change the fact that the title of your post is full of lies about the Democratic Party. At most, you could call them political hyperbole or exaggeration, but by the same standards you use to identify lies, they are indeed lies. Besides, Trump and the MAGA movement are the most anti-American political movement we have seen in my lifetime for sure, if not ever. The list of damage Trump has done to American democratic traditions is long and appalling. He falsely claimed widespread fraud in our elections and made efforts to overturn a free and fair election in 2021. He has undermined our most treasured democratic institutions simply because they do not align with his political or personal interests. His almost constant stream of lies, falsehoods, and misleading statements. His attacks on the press, calling them "fake news" and "the enemy of the people," simply because they do not kowtow to his presidency. He uses the presidency for personal and corporate financial gain. The widespread nepotism in his presidency. His polarizing rhetoric and his attacks on race, gender, and nationality normalize nationalist and populist sentiment that are traditionally shunned. All of this stuff, and way more, clearly makes Trump the most anti-American president we have ever had.

I know I've said this before, but trying to convince davis of anything is like trying to convince a flat earther that the Earth is a globe. All he want to do is generate responses that he can then nitpick some minor aspect of and then ignore the main argument. It's been his MO for years.

Besides, Davis, when are you going to get with the program? It's not democrat, it's dumocrat. You know like your hero Trump's grandpa joke he keeps repeating over and over and over which still isn't funny and never ways. You know, "take the E out of democrat and replace it with a U and nobody knows that dumb has a B at the end of it or that most people don't spell it with a B, making the "u" swap simple, precise, and direct." According to Trump it only took nine years to figure that out, what's taking you so long?
