Swiftboaters AWOL?

We need a good Swiftboat campaign against Obama, perhaps suggesting his claims of being a community organizer aren't true; or another classic movie by Michael Moore maybe suggesting McCain's 5 years in a POW camp were really spent in Canada. This election season is getting redundant. Where are these guys when we need a good spicing up of the election? Is it too earlier?
Mike

BTW, I believe also it was Michael Moore who suggested if McCain had access to government health care (or Cuban doctors) he would be able to lift his hands above his head by now. Then he quite possibly could reach that government cheese on second shelf. wink

Reasoning people already know all that they need to in order to make a decision.

Owright has such a thin record, there is nothing to attack, unless just pointing out his record (or lack there of) is considered an attack. His record is clear, simple and more than enough to understand what he is. In regard to your suggestion that Owright may not have been a community organizer, that cannot be disputed because the term is meaningless. The best I can figure is that he was a minor player at the local level hanging out with his buddies taking crack as they complained about the need for more government. He was about as effective at "change" then as he has been at everything else that he has tried. But that is OK because he is a lib, black, clean and can say "change" very well (if he has a teleprompter). What more do we need to know? A typical Dem.

McCain has a long public record that has been well vetted over decades. Everything real in his past that can be used against him is known, and Owright's dirty trick squad is already doing their best to use it against him.

The Owright group includes the MSM. They understand the score and are already executing their strategy to get Owright into the oval office. Their strategy is simple and straight forward:

1 - Swoon over Owright to build buzz and to make him a star.
2 - Ignore McCain. Give him no coverage or the minimum possible.

Hopefully the voting public gets tired of Owright's nonsense and people get to understand that he is nothing more than a clean black guy who can read a teleprompter.

Wow Jim, you got all serious on me. :S The best we can do on both sides right now is point out each others gaffes.....boooooring. We need some excitement, something with some meat. The gaffe - senior moment -uhhhhhh thing is really meaningless to me. That's just the best either side can do right now.

McCain especially needs to do something. While my crystal ball is certainly cloudy at times, right now I see nothing but potentially the most lopsided presidential election in history. While I personally support McCain, I think he'll be embarassed in November unless Obama's closet doors open and something really scary comes out. However, I think we would have seen that by now if that was the case. Imagine the "bump" he gets today when 500,000 people watch him speak in Berlin. Just my two cents, and you know how much that is worth in the current economic situation.

Best,
Mike
