President Obama's policies against Jewish construction in eastern Jerusalem and the strategic West Bank were slammed as "racist" today by participants in a rally drawing about 2,000 Israelis in front of the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem.

"George Mitchell go home!" yelled protestors in front of the U.S. government building.

I have mixed feelings about some of what Israel is doing, but the Obama Administration and their demonstrated disdain for long term allies is once again demonstrating that they are just as ineffective in the international arena as they are domestically. Thankfully according to his approval rating more and more Americans are waking up to the devastation that Obama continues to inflict on this country. Hopefully as his approval rate continues to tank his socialist and liberal policies will follow suit.

I thought that everyone around the world adores our first black president? I guess that there are some who see Obama for what he actually is.

Clear Skies,
Jim

"You guys make a pretty good photo op" Obama said about the military. A perfect example of how libs support the troops.

Ironically, it was Jesse Jackson, another Anti-Semite, who predicted just this during the presidential campaign. None of this mattered at the time. According to an exit poll I saw the majority of American Jews voted for Obama.

It's a joke hearing a charge of racism coming from Zionist settlers. I think it's about time that somebody stood up to the Jewish lobby and the right wing Israelis and pointed out the illegality of most of those settlements.
American support for Jewish settlements in occupied lands comes not only from Jews in this country, but from fundamentalist Christians, who are ultimately seeking Apocalypse in the Middle East. It hardly seems like a road to peace.
As for the effectiveness of Obama's foreign policies, time will tell, but everybody but the US right wing seems to think he's on the right track. The previous 8 years of foreign policy are widely regarded (once again by everyone but the neo-cons and right wing nuts) as an abject failure, with Iraq being the one of the most serious blunders in history.

So Colonel,

Does this mean that you are totally in favour of the Jews stealing land from the Palestinians in contravention of international law and that you are opposed to anyone prepared to speak out against it? Further, does your post also mean that you fully support someone who calls anyone who does not agree with their agenda "racist"?
